How the night works

Walk in FREE. Meal tickets do the rest.

No online checkout, nothing to book. Entry is free, then $10 meal tickets buy tapas-style servings from every vendor along the table. Buy a few, share them around, then go back for another lap.

Once a year, Chinchilla closes Heeney Street and sets one very long table down the middle of it. Locals, businesses and visitors sit shoulder to shoulder, share food from around the world, and watch the street become a celebration of the cultures that make up this town.

Two entries, one long table, and food zones running the full length of the street. The stage, CCCI event tent and kids area sit on the western side. The bar, craft beer and wine area, free photo booth and sound tent sit on the eastern side.

One Long Table is Chinchilla's multicultural food festival. Once a year, Heeney Street closes and one very long table runs down the middle of it, with food from around the world, live entertainment, and the whole town sharing a night at the table.

Saturday 5 September 2026, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, on Heeney Street in Chinchilla.

Entry is free. You only pay for what you eat and drink.

Meal tickets are $10 each, sold at the gates and at the CCCI event tent on the night. You exchange them with vendors for tapas-style servings, so you can try several cuisines in one evening. There is no online purchase for 2026.

Yes. There is a kids area with rides and activities, plus a free photo booth. Bring the kids and bring your appetite.

Yes. There is a licensed bar with a craft beer and wine area.

Entry is free. Scan one of the QR codes at the event and upload a photo of yourself enjoying One Long Table. The winner is drawn at the event and must be present to claim. Terms and conditions apply.
